I love this poem and realize how lucky I am to be with my mother in hospice as she slips away more each day. The "tiny squares" are heartbreaking. The "...washing machine/voices" as well as "wax doll with a/ blackhole mouth." And, the last stanza! Thank you for this rendering of an ending. It helps.
